I have the warmest memories of my participation in the GP series in Baja and La Carrera Classic in the 90s. We did street races in Ensenada, Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate and San Felipe and the open-road Classic that went from Ensenada to San Felipe and back. I raced my Ferratsun and did the art for the events posters. 9/11 changed everything and it was very difficult to go back and race in Baja. Crossing the border was a problem and the races stopped. I take the opportunity to send my best wishes to my fellow drivers, friends and organizers. It was the best of times. Truly the best of times.
