In 1992 I bought a 1973 Datsun 240Z with the intention of doing a simple project: making the Datsun look like one of those Ferrari coupes that raced in the Carrera Panamericana de Mexico, a 375 MM "look alike". Sort of. Not a complete re-bodied of the car which would be too expensive, but changing the nose and adding a few cosmetic details. The 240Z had the perfect proportions for this project.
